生產方法編輯
由苯甲酸與乙酐反應而得。將苯甲酸、乙酐和糖漿狀磷酸一起蒸餾反應，溫度不超過120℃，蒸出一定量餾分時，向反應混合物補加乙酐，重復此操作。然后蒸出餾分直至反應物溫度達到270℃。將蒸餾剩余物減壓分餾，在2.53-2.67kPa壓力下，收集210-220℃的餾分即為苯甲酸酐粗品，重結晶得成品。 [1]
